Welcome to the world of a traveling journalist!

My name is Julio, a journalist proud of his profession and passionate about teaching. For almost 30 years I’ve traveled to several countries, writing reports on politics, economics and human rights, and that acquired experience has been transferred to my classes as a university professor. Life has shown me that we’re always in an endless learning process, and this blog seeks to show how I’ve strengthened my desire to know more and share it with everyone.

I was born in Peru, I resided in China for three years and now I live in the United States… I like both extremes! And just as I learned to value the culture of two such different nations, I’d love for people to break down their prejudices and apprehensions of this world so rich and vast in differences and cultures, by reading articles, video reports and interviews that I’ve made along these years. Soy Julio, un periodista orgulloso de su profesión y apasionado por la enseñanza. Por casi 30 años he viajado por muchos países para escribir reportajes sobre política, economía y derechos humanos, y esa experiencia adquirida siempre la he volcado en mis clases como profesor universitario. La vida me ha mostrado que siempre estamos en un proceso de aprendizaje interminable, y este blog busca mostrar cómo he fortalecido mis ansias por saber más y compartirlo con todos.

Nací en Perú, estuve en China tres años y ahora vivo en Estados Unidos… ¡Me gustan ambos extremos! Y así como aprendí a valorar la cultura de dos naciones tan distintas, me encantaría que la gente derribe sus prejuicios y aprensiones de este mundo tan rico y vasto en diferencias y culturas, con la lectura de artículos, reportajes en video y entrevistas que he realizado a lo largo de estos años. ¡Disfruten!
